Job Description
Job Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am to 3:30pm.
Custom Pallet Assembler - $18/hour starting + Incentives. Performance pay is given based on speed and quality of work.
Incentive Pay: The more you build, the more you make. J&L pays weekly performance bonuses on top of your hourly wage for building faster than the expected time. Great builders can bring home $100s of extra dollars a month!
Pallet builders: Utilize power tools, pneumatic nail guns, and pneumatic staple guns to assemble custom wood pallets and crates.
Saw operators: Utilize power tools and various saws/drills to cut custom lengths of wood boards and plywood.
Builders will use verbal, organizational, and time management skills to ensure pallets meet our quality assurance.
Ideal pallet builders are safety conscious builders who are comfortable working in a high velocity environment. They are expected to have basic carpentry knowledge and be comfortable operating power tools.
This job requires:
Hearing and eye protection. Hard soled shoes.
Lifting at least 70-pounds. Must be able to operate a 9 pound nail gun 40% of the work day.
Able to read a tape measurer.
Able to read and understand drawings/prints
Keeping a safe/organized work environment by complying with legal regulations and company protocols.
