This is a unique opportunity for a proven leader to operate a dealership with true autonomy—like an entrepreneur—with the backing and resources of a larger organization.

Position Summary:
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall performance and profitability of the dealership, leading all departments including sales, service, finance, and fixed operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned GM or a high-performing General Sales Manager ready to take the next step. The ideal candidate will bring a stable work history, a passion for leadership, and a mindset focused on growth, accountability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all dealership operations with full P&L responsibility
• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction
• Build, coach, and retain a high-performing leadership team across all departments
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and internal policies
• Analyze financial statements and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
• Represent the dealership in the community and with OEM partners
• Operate the store with an entrepreneurial mindset, treating it as your own business

Qualifications:

• Proven success as a General Manager or General Sales Manager
• Stable and progressive work history in automotive retail
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
• Deep understanding of dealership operations, financials, and manufacturer relationships
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a drive to lead and grow a business
• Proficiency in dealership management systems
