Janitorial Maintenance Technician
Location: TopJump Trampoline and Extreme Arena; Pigeon Forge TN
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Director of Maintenance
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Flexible scheduling; must be available some overnight shifts for projects and early mornings for inspections prior to opening.
Position Overview: Were looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on
Janitorial Maintenance Technician to help keep our trampoline park safe, clean, and running smoothly. This role is essential to ensuring a welcoming and hazard-free environment for guests of all ages. Youll be responsible for day-to-day cleaning, minor facility repairs, routine inspections, and supporting the overall upkeep of the park. On the job training will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities: Janitorial Duties:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect all common areas including restrooms, lobbies, party rooms, and trampoline areas.
- Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility.
- Refill soap dispensers, paper products, and sanitizers as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of employee-only areas and storage rooms.
- Respond promptly to spills, accidents, or cleanliness concerns during park hours.
Maintenance & Repairs:
- Perform daily inspections of trampoline equipment, foam pits, and safety pads to ensure functionality and safety compliance.
- Repair or report minor issues such as loose bolts, ripped padding, or damaged flooring.
- Maintain lighting fixtures, plumbing, HVAC filters, and basic electrical components.
- Monitor and maintain tools, cleaning supplies, and inventory of maintenance materials.
- Assist with assembling or moving furniture, attractions, or event setups.
Safety & Compliance: - Follow all safety protocols
- Document and report hazards, incidents, or needed repairs in a timely manner.
- Support emergency procedures such as cleanups or evacuation prep as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in janitorial or facility maintenance work preferred; amusement or recreation facility experience is a plus.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule with some night shifts for projects.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical repairs, electrical systems, and building maintenance.
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, or in physically demanding situations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and be eligible to work with minors.
