Job Description
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to manage the financial side of our growing transportation business. You’ll be responsible for entering and tracking transactions, reconciling bank accounts, handling payroll records, managing tax deadlines, and generating financial reports.
You must be highly proficient in QuickBooks and comfortable working independently. This role works directly with ownership and plays a key part in keeping our financials accurate and up to date.
This can be a part-time or full-time position depending on your experience and availability.

We’re hiring a Senior Bookkeeper who’s comfortable working independently and understands the importance of clean books, timely reporting, and financial accuracy. This role is perfect for someone experienced in QuickBooks who’s ready to take control of the day-to-day numbers, help identify areas for improvement, and make sure the business stays ahead of upcoming obligations.
This can be a part-time or full-time position , depending on your experience and availability. There’s flexibility here for the right person.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Enter and maintain transactions across multiple companies in QuickBooks
Reconcile bank accounts, Bank Rec
Generate Payroll
Stay on top of all business tax obligations — including employee withholdings, quarterly filings, and IFTA
Manage workers’ comp policy records and deadlines
Keep track of upcoming payments and flag any cash flow issues
Run and review financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.) to help spot problems or opportunities
Work directly with the owner on financial planning and priorities
What We’re Looking For:
At least 2 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience
Strong understanding of basic accounting and reconciliation workflows
Experience working across multiple business entities is a big plus
Familiarity with payroll and payroll taxes.
Someone who’s reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work without constant supervision
Bonus if you’ve worked in transportation, logistics, or a service-based business
