**Job Title: Shipper** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented shipper who embodies a servant mentality and positive attitude. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, require little to no supervision, and efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities. Proficiency in data entry and navigation of computer-based shipping systems is essential. Additionally, the ability to perform basic mathematical operations and learn forklift operation is required. **Responsibilities** + Receive completed jobs from rewind and ship to the appropriate customer listed on the order. + Utilize the Jobs Due Report for all departments to plan shipments for a given day. + Collaborate closely with all personnel to facilitate the shipment of all jobs due. + Pull finished goods inventory releases and prepare for shipping. + Reconcile the Jobs Due Report at the end of each day. + Respond timely and appropriately to all company personnel, customers, and vendors. + Project positive and professional behavior and attitude. + Work as a Utility Person throughout the facility, performing various tasks as needed. + Engage in additional tasks, duties, and special projects, including data entry, production, order pulling, and packaging. **Essential Skills** + Forklift operation skills + Order pulling + Inventory management + Shipping and receiving + Shipping entry + Receiver duties **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Two years of shipping experience preferred but not required + Forklift experience is a plus + Fulfillment experience is a plus **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comfortable work environment with climate control, great hours, and excellent benefits that make this opportunity attractive. **Work Environment** Work in a climate-controlled facility that ensures comfort and efficiency throughout the day. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, Alabama. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
